These are recommendations for wood to metal baluster replacement.

1.       Remove old balusters by cutting them as close to the middle of the baluster as possible.

2.       Once the balusters are removed, clean out the holes of excess glue or any nails.

3.       Next you will need to measure from the center hole in the bottom of the handrail to the hole that is on the stair tread.  Add 1” to your measurement.  After you have your final measurement cut your baluster.  Note: wall cap rail systems may need to have holes drilled for the balusters to fit.
